Family Retreats

Bringing a family together on a regular basis is invaluable to provide a forum for family members as a group to:

• Educate younger generations about the family’s history and values
• Discuss topics of special significance
• Make decisions affecting multiple branches of the family
• Direct the family’s philanthropy
• Address any distance or rifts that may be developing within the family

Retreats may be varied.  For example, the focus may be on one generation of the family to strengthen its ties and address issues of primary concern for that generation.

Families with large family business holdings may choose to formalize these meetings through a Family Council, to be the voice representing the family in the businesses.

We design and facilitate family retreats and meetings to include family members of all ages and interests.  We also help structure and establish Family Councils.  Our leadership at these retreats and meetings allows us to share what we have learned through working with different families.
